CSV FIELD GUIDE

A clear spreadsheet makes a clean invoice run.

Repeat invoice details

Use the same invoice number for multiple items. Repeat client, currency, dates, notes and reference on every row of that invoice. Conflicting values block the whole invoice.

Keep amounts unambiguous

Use 45.50, not $45.50 or 1,000.50. Quantity must be positive; a zero price is allowed. Up to 4 decimal places are supported. Dates use YYYY-MM-DD.

Know the limits

2 MB UTF-8 CSV, 2,000 data rows, 40 columns, 200 invoices and 60 items per invoice. These are browser safety limits, not a paid allowance. Blank lines are ignored; exact duplicate line items are preserved.

Batch invoices are free and need no account; nothing is stored online. Keep your original spreadsheet. ZIP downloads include PDFs, a summary CSV, the error report and run notes. Invoices with characters outside the built-in PDF fonts use an image PDF; those pages are not searchable.
